The Satanic Political Agenda Behind the Black Lives Matter Movement

Updated: Dec 18, 2024

Brothers and sisters in Christ, I come before you today with a heavy heart, seeking to shed light on the spiritual and political forces that are behind some of the most influential movements of our time. We live in a world where deception runs rampant, and many are being swept away by the tide of ideologies that do not align with God's Word. One such movement that has captured the attention of millions is the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

While the phrase "Black Lives Matter" itself is a statement we can all affirm — because indeed, Black lives, like all lives, matter to God — the organization behind it is another story. Today, we will explore the Satanic agenda behind the BLM movement, and how it seeks to undermine God's truth, the family structure, and the principles of reconciliation and forgiveness that are so vital to our Christian faith.

The Origins and Ideological Foundation of Black Lives Matter

The phrase "Black Lives Matter" became a rallying cry following the tragic death of George Floyd in 2020. In the wake of this senseless violence, many well-meaning people joined the movement, hoping to bring attention to racial injustice and inequality. These individuals are not the focus of this sermon. We are addressing the leadership and ideology behind the BLM organization itself.

The organization behind Black Lives Matter was co-founded by Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi. Cullors, in particular, has openly stated that she and Garza are "trained Marxists" and that they are "super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories." This should raise an alarm for us as believers. Marxism, at its core, is a political ideology that seeks to abolish traditional structures, including family, religion, and private property, in favor of a radical reordering of society.

This is not just a political agenda; it is a spiritual battle. Marxism, like all forms of communism, is rooted in atheism and rebellion against God's authority. It seeks to dethrone the order God established for creation, where men and women are made in His image, and families are the cornerstone of society. The BLM organization may cloak itself in the language of justice, but its true agenda is the destruction of God's design.

The War Against the Family

One of the most disturbing aspects of the BLM organization is its stated goal of "disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure." The organization's website openly declares that it supports "extended families" and "villages" over the traditional family unit. This is not just a political statement; it is a direct assault on the very fabric of society that God designed.

From the very beginning of creation, God instituted the family as the foundational unit of human society. In Genesis 2:24, it is written, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." This is God's design for marriage and family — one man and one woman, joined together, creating a foundation for children to grow up in a loving, stable environment.

The BLM organization, however, seeks to undermine this sacred institution, promoting alternative family structures that ignore God’s design. This is not just a social issue — it is a spiritual issue. The enemy is using this movement to sow confusion and disorder in society, leading people away from the truth of God's Word.

The Lie of No Forgiveness and No Reconciliation

As Christians, we are called to be a people of reconciliation. The very heart of the Gospel is about restoring our broken relationship with God through the forgiveness of our sins, and then extending that forgiveness to others. Jesus taught us to forgive seventy times seven (Matthew 18:22), and He modeled perfect forgiveness when He died on the cross for our sins.

But what does the BLM movement say about forgiveness and reconciliation? According to the leaders of the organization, there is no room for forgiveness, no call for reconciliation. The focus is on division, anger, and retribution. This is not the heart of Christ. Jesus calls us to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, and work toward peace.

When Ryan Bomberger, a Christian pro-life advocate, pointed out that BLM has no room for reconciliation, he was speaking a profound truth. As believers, we cannot support an organization that promotes division and vengeance over the peace and reconciliation that Christ offers. The very core of the Christian message is forgiveness — the forgiveness of sins through Christ, and the call to forgive one another as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32). To support an organization that denies this truth is to align ourselves with the enemy's agenda.

The Abortion Agenda and the Devaluation of Life

Another troubling aspect of the BLM movement is its support for abortion. The organization has openly aligned itself with Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry, which has been responsible for the deaths of millions of unborn children. This is a direct contradiction to the message that "Black Lives Matter," as Bomberger rightly points out. How can we say that Black lives matter when we stand in solidarity with the organization that is the leading cause of Black lives being taken in the womb?

The Bible is clear about the value of life. In Psalm 139:13-16, David declares,

"For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

Every life is precious to God, from conception to natural death. And yet, the BLM organization supports the killing of unborn children, particularly within the Black community, where abortion rates are disproportionately high.

This is part of the enemy’s plan to destroy life at every stage — to kill, steal, and destroy. The abortion agenda is one of the most insidious tools the enemy uses to undermine the value of human life, and the BLM organization is complicit in promoting it.

The Political and Spiritual Manipulation

Brothers and sisters, we must understand that this is not just a political issue. It is a spiritual battle, a battle for the soul of our nation and the hearts of our people. The BLM movement, under the guise of advocating for justice, is being used as a tool by the enemy to divide, confuse, and ultimately destroy God's design for society. It promotes hatred, division, abortion, and the rejection of God's plan for the family.

As Christians, we must be discerning. We must not be swept up in the emotionalism of the moment but instead, we must look at the deeper agenda behind the movement. We must stand firm in the truth of God's Word and resist any ideology that seeks to tear apart the fabric of society that God has ordained.

Application and Call to Action

So what should we do as believers? First and foremost, we must pray. We must pray for the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of God's Word. We must pray for those who are deceived by the movement, that they would come to know the true justice and reconciliation found in Christ alone.

Second, we must stand firm in our faith. We must reject ideologies that seek to divide us and destroy the family. We must promote God's design for marriage and family, and we must advocate for the sanctity of life, both in and outside the womb.

Finally, we must be a people of reconciliation. While the BLM movement promotes division, we are called to bring people together — not in our own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. We must be ambassadors of peace, forgiveness, and the Gospel.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, We come before You today asking for Your wisdom and discernment. We recognize the deception in the world around us, especially in movements that seek to divide and destroy. Lord, we pray for the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement, that their hearts would be opened to Your truth. We pray for those who have been deceived by this ideology, that they would see the love, peace, and reconciliation that can only be found in Christ. Father, help us to stand firm in Your truth. Help us to reject the lies of the enemy and embrace Your design for the family, for life, and for justice. We pray for a revival in our nation, where Your Word is honored and Your truth reigns. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
